DDA Engineers Recruitment 2013 through GATE 2013Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has recently published Recruitment Notification 2013 through GATE 2013 for Engineers from the disciplines of Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering disciplines. The detailed recruitment notification is going to be published in Employment News dated 29th September 2013. DDA has in the meanwhile issued a curtain-raiser notification.

Four other PSU organisations have so far issued recruitment notification through GATE 2013: BPCL, HPCL, Power Grid, NTPC. This blog post is being made to apprise you about the DDA Engineers jobs and help you to apply for the same with summary of information on the eligibilities and application form. Towards the end of the article, you would find the prep materials for DDA Recruitment 2013 - the written part (i.e. GATE 2013) and also GD/Interview.

DDA vacancies 2013 & GATE 2013 Papers:
These vacancies in DDA are for the positions of Assistant Executive Engineers for Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering disciplines. However DDA has not released post-wise break-up of the vacancies at this moment.
For these positions, you have to appear in GATE 2013 papers of CE, ME & EE respectively.

DDA Salary for Assistant Executive Engineer:
DDA offers salary for  Assistant Executive Engineers in pay scale: 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/= in pay band PB-3.

Eligibility for DDA Assistant Executive Engineer:
Age Eligibility:
Minimum: 21 years & Maximum 30 years. (as on 01.01.2013)
Age relaxations exists for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification Eligibility:
Graduation in Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering disciplines from a recognized university.

Since you have to appear in GATE for these  Assistant Executive Engineer positions, it is needless to say that you also have to possess the eligibility for GATE, details of which can be found in my blog article titled: GATE 2013 Notification, Eligibility & Forms.

DDA Engineer Recruitment 2013 Online Form:
You have to register (i.e. apply) actually twice for DDA Assistant Executive Engineer positions: once for GATE & than for DDA.

First you have to apply online for GATE 2013.
How to apply for for GATE has been described in detail in this webpage.
Last date for applying online for GATE 2013 is 30th September, 2012. So better hurry!

Subsequent to your online registration for GATE 2013, you would be able to download the GATE 2013 Admit card from 5th December, 2012 onwards.  Now you have to use the "GATE-2013 Registration Number" as given in the admit card to register online for DDA  Engineer Recruitment 2013.

The Online form for DDA Engineer Recruitment 2013 would be available from  24th December, 2012  in this DDA Jobs website. Last date for submission of  DDA Engineer Recruitment 2013 Online form is 14th February, 2013.

IMPORTANT DDA Engineer Recruitment 2013 DATES:
Start date for online registration for GATE 2013: 01.09.2012.
Last date of online registration for GATE 2013: 30..09.2012..

Date of availability of GATE 2013 Admit Card (hence GATE-2013 Registration Number): 05.12.2012.
Start date of online registration for DDA Engineer Recruitment 2013: 24.12.2012.
Last date of online registration for DDA Engineer Recruitment 2013: 14.02.2013.

Subsequent to your online registration for Engineer positions, DDA would procure the GATE scores from GATE authority, shortlist the candidates and if you are within the merit list, would call you for the subsequent selection process - Group Discussion (GD), Interview.
