BSPHCL (Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd) has very recently advertised notification for recruitment of 225 AE (Assistant Engineers), 495 JE (Junior Engineers) & 53 Revenue Officers. This latest job opportunity is for the vacancy in three subsidiary companies of BSPHCL: NBPDCL (North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd.), SBPDCL (South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd.) & BSPTCL (Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd.) As per this BSPHCL Recruitment Notification 2013, last date for submission of online application form is 16th September, 2013.

BSPHCL Salary for AE/JE/RO:

BSPHCL is offering following salary (Consolidated Pay including HRA):

Salary for AEE/ AE (Civil)/ RO : Rs. 32,000-51,000

Salary for JEE Gr.-II / JE Gr.-II (Civil): Rs. 15,500-24,000/-

Eligibility requirement for AE/JE/RO in BSPHCL:

Age Eligibility: (as on 31.08.2013):

Minimum: 21 years (all categories) for AEE/ AE (Civil)/ RO.  18 years (all categories) for JEE/ JE (Civil).

Maximum: 37 years (for SC/ST: 42 years, BC/EBC/Female (UR): 40 years.

Academic Qualification Eligibility:

For AE (Electrical):

Min: 60%m marks (for SC/ST: 50% & BC/EBC:55%) in 4 years’ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Tele-communication/ Power Engineering.

For AE (Civil):

Min: 60%m marks (for SC/ST: 50% & BC/EBC: 55%) in 4 years’ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering.

For Revenue Officer:

Min: 60%m marks (for SC/ST: 50% & BC/EBC:55%) in 2 years’ MBA/ PGDBM along with 4 years’ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Tele-communication/ Power Engineering.

For JE (Electrical):

3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Communication/ Electronics Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering OR 4 years B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical/ Electrical& Electronics/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Power Engineering.

For candidates with diploma: Min: 60%m marks (for SC/ST: 50% & BC/EBC:55%).

For candidates with degree: Min: 50%m marks for all categories.

For JE (Civil):

3 years’ Diploma in Civil OR 4 years’ B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Construction Engineering

For candidates with diploma: Min: 60%m marks (for SC/ST: 50% & BC/EBC:55%).

For candidates with degree: Min: 50%m marks for all categories.

Relaxation in marks will be available, only to reserved category candidates who are domicile of Bihar. Female (BC) will get marks relaxation as per their Category.

Selection Process for BSPHCL AE/JE/RO:

In this recruitment, while there would be no written exam for the post of Assistant Engineers, written exam would be conducted for selection of Junior Engineers & Revenue Officers.

Selection Process for the post of Assistant Engineers will consist of shortlisting of candidates based on GATE 2013 scores followed by BSPHCL Interview. While for the post of Junior Engineers & Revenue Officers, shortlisting will be done based on performance in the written exam.
