Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) MT Recruitment 2013 Notification came out just yesterday for 285 MT (Management Trainee). Out of these, 257 MT positions are for engineering disciplines while 28 are for others, like HR, Legal, Architecture etc. Submission of forms has already started from yesterday and the last date of  submission of form for HAL MT Recruitment 2013 is 11th October, 2013. The online HAL MT Exam 2013 would be held from 13th to 22nd November, 2013.

This blog post tells you in a nutshell how to apply for this HAL MT recruitment by quoting the important information from the notification. What is HAL:

With its head-office in Bangalore, HAL is one of Asia's largest aerospace companies. It built the first military aircraft in South Asia and is currently involved in the design, fabrication and assembly of aircraft, jet engines, and helicopters, as well as their components and spares.

Manned by approx. 34,000 employees, HAL has 20 Production /Service Divisions and 10 co-located R&D Centres spread across the country. It has tie-ups with several major international aerospace agencies such as Airbus, Boeing, Sukhoi Aviation Corporation etc.

HAL MT Vacancy 2013:

As said, there are 285 Management Trainee vacancies in HAL Recruitment 2013. You can find the post-wise, category-wise MT vacancy positions in HAL in the table below.

Salary for HAL MT:

Approximate CTC in the form of stipend offered by HAL to MT during the one year training period is Rs. 4 to Rs. 4.6 to 5.0 lakhs.
On successful completion of the training, MTs are absorbed as Engineers /Officers and HAL offers salary in pay-scale of Rs. 16,400-40,500/-, with which CTC is approx. Rs. 6.6 to Rs. 7.0 lakhs.

HAL MT Recruitment Eligibility:

Age Eligibility: Max: 28 years (as on 11.10.2012).
DOB before 11.10.1985 are not eligible. Relaxations exists as per Govt rule.

Educational Qualification Eligibility:

Eligibility For MT (Technical):
Minimum 65% marks ( for SC/ST: 55% Marks) in aggregate in engineering degree exams.
For Aeronautical Branch: Minimum 60% marks ( for SC/ST: 50% Marks).

Eligible disciplines: Aeronautical / Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical /Metallurgy / Production.

Eligibility For MT (Materials Management):

Minimum 65% marks ( for SC/ST: 55% Marks) in aggregate in engineering degree exams.
Eligible disciplines: Electrical / Mechanical /Production.

Eligibility For MT (Marketing Management):

Minimum 65% marks (for SC/ST: 55% Marks) in aggregate in engineering degree exam and Minimum 55% marks ( for SC/ST: 50% Marks) in PG Diploma in Marketing Management.
Eligible disciplines: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Production.

Eligibility For MT (HR): 

Graduation with 2 years Full Time PG Degree / Diploma / MBA / MSW /MA (3 + 2 years after 10 +2) with specialization in HR / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations from recognized Institutes / Universities.

Minimum 60% marks ( for SC/ST: 50% Marks) in aggregate Bachelor’s Degree and Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in above qualification.

Eligibility For MT (Legal): 

Minimum 60% marks (for SC/ST: 50% Marks) in Bachelor of Law (5 years integrated Full Time course after 10 + 2) or Bachelor’s Degree (Full Time) with Bachelor of Law (Full Time) (3 + 3 years after 10 + 2)

Eligibility For MT (Civil): 

Minimum 65% marks ( for SC/ST: 55% Marks) in aggregate in Civil engineering degree exam.

Eligibility For MT (Architecture): 

Minimum 65% marks ( for SC/ST: 55% Marks) in Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (5 years Full Time Course after 10 +2).

HAL MT Selection process:

Selection process for HAL MT consists of an Online test followed by Interview. HAL MT Online test would be conducted at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulam, Gulbarga, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kota, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Noida, Pune, Ranchi, Trivandrum, Vijayawada & Visakhapatnam.. HAL MT Online test would consists of a 200 question, 3-part exam which has to be answered in 2-1/2 hours. More about it in my blog post titled: HAL MT Exam Pattern, Sample Papers & Books.

HAL MT Recruitment 2013 Online form:

You have to apply only online for these HAL MT jobs. There is no offline form.

Please go through the instructions given clearly on how to submit the online form in section: “HOW TO APPLY? (REGISTRATION PROCESS)” in page-9/10 of the notification.

Download Admit Card for HAL MT Recruitment 2013:

You have to download Admit Card for HAL MT Online Test 2013 from this HAL career webpage. The Admit Card would be available for download from 24th October, 2013 onwards.
